Not sure what they already own? Cards, rulebooks and miniatures are very specific. Unless they’ve told you exactly what they want, it’s easy to buy a duplicate or the wrong expansion or edition.
Look for something that shows you know their fandom. A design with an in-joke from their game or favourite films shows you’ve paid attention.
Think about how they enjoy their hobby. Do they host game nights, travel to play, or mostly watch the films at home? Matching the gift to that makes it feel personal.
